The latest version of Evernote for iPad/iPhone (v3.3.2) is now available which fixes all know syncing and crashing issues including the “the bug with no name”. If  you’re still having sync issues after the update see the quick update Evernote added at the bottom of this blog post. It’s was also mentioned in the comments that you may need to reset your device once if you’re still experiencing crashes.

In addition to the bug fixes this update adds the ability to toggle full screen view on the iPad. Tapping the small arrow pair next to the note’s name switches the view from split screen:
