In his MacLitigator blog, lawyer-blogger Peter Summerill gives an excellent account of how he used his iPad in a jury trial.  I was wondering when we would first hear of this “hard-core” use of an iPad in legal profession.  After reading his blog post, I want to go download Keynote for iPad and PDFtoKeynote.  They seemed to serve him well in front of the jury.

Peter is not the only one.  Disability lawyer Steven Butler (@DisabilityGuy on Twitter) also uses his iPad extensively on the job – at Social Security hearings.  I talked with Steven recently and I’ll be posting about our conversation soon.

Do you know of other lawyers or legal professionals who use iPads?  We’d love to hear about them — and maybe have a chat.
